5 Signs Of Clogged Arteries – Healthy Food And Sport Tips

For those of you that don’t know:The arteries are  blood vessels and they deliver oxygen-rich blood from the heart to the tissues of the body. Each artery is a muscular tube lined by smooth tissue and has three layers. – WebMD

They are vital to our health and are responsible for our blood to be effectively delivered to our organs. If the arteries are clogged it can provoke some  health conditions like heart attack, stroke, and cardiovascular disease.

Detecting possibly clogged arteries is very difficult but  with identifying  any of these signs, we can seek medical care before some serious health conditions arise.

The arteries of our lower back are one of  the first areas to accumulate plaque so lower back pain can be a symptom of artery blockage. If there is a reduced blood flow to the back it will weaken the disks that cushion the vertebrae and will provoke  painful herniated disks and pinched nerves.

In a study from  European Journal of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery, individuals with chronic back pain have increased the risk of developing clogged lumbar arteries.

Arteriosclerosis – the thickening and hardening of the arterial walls –  is common to experience pain in one or both calves, a condition known as claudication.

Smokers are in a higher risk class . Simple blood tests and  couple of other basic tests must be made.

This condition can be reversed by  eating more plant-based foods and fewer animal products . If  proper changes are made it will be gone for good.

Peripheral artery disease (PAD) is a buildup of cholesterol and plaque that can occur in the extremities and can  result in discomfort in the feet and legs, potentially limiting the ability to walk or even to  the loss of a limb.

Making simple tests will identify arterial conditions such as PAD. Some screening and  can also be made to determine the amount of blood flow to the ankle.

People with frequent pain or tiredness in the legs should do this tests of PAD especially if they smoke or have a family history of PAD or other cardiovascular problems.

One of the more odd signs of clogged arteries is ear creases. Seriously, medical reports say that ear creases are a  silent sign of coronary heart disease (CHD).

It is an ear crease that goes diagonally from the ear canal to the lower edge of the earlobe.

This is a rather contentious sign of clogged arteries and  an ear creases can be another physical sign of aging. No harm in consulting a doctor.

Maintaining an erection means having your  blood unobstructed path to this area.

WebMD says that  Erectile Dysfunction indicates that some of the blood vessels are not in ideal health so schedule a doctor visit to discuss these symptoms.

If you have any of these signs no need to start  feelings of helplessness or distress just go see your doctor.

We are not trying to scare you but just to make you more aware of  any potential barriers to a fully healthy and bountiful life.
