Aldi bans neonicotinoids, goes organic, rivals Whole Foods as healthiest grocery store – Healthy Food And Sport Tips

On January 1, was announced by the German supermarket chain with stores in the U.S that they will removed 8 pesticides, as faster as they can.

Here are the pesticides:

Thiamethoxam Chlorpyrifos Clothianidin Cypermethrin Deltamethrin Fipronil Imidacloprid

Aldi is the first European major grocery store to ban the pesticides found to be dangerous to bees, but it is going much further.

– They are adding more gluten free items to their ingredients while taking out some artificial ones as they continue to expand their organic food brands.

– They are removing certified synthetic colors, incompletely hydrogenated oils, and MSG from their private-mark items (which make up 90% of offers).

– Sales of more natural meat and produce, including the “Never Any!” brand of meats that contain no additional hormones, antibiotics, animal by-products or other additives.

– Aldi will likewise grow the SimplyNature line (which is free of more than 125 artificial fixings) and their without gluten liveGfree brand.

– The milk was free of added development hormones, but now its yogurt, sour cream, cottage cheese, and other dairy products etc.
