This issue has become so widespread that 4 big shampoo producers received California lawsuit.

Actually, the foam from your shampoo comes from the cocamide DEA. Manufacturers were required to warn consumers about the danger associated with cocamide DEA, and other similar substances.

And not only cheap shampoo brands use this carcinogenic compound, but also well-known brands such as Colgate. Although cocamide diethanolamine was banned in commercial health product, FDA didn’t do much about this problem.
